Itinerary

Dive into the exquisite culture of northern Vietnam and meet Red Dzao and Blue H’mong communities on this pleasant 12 – 14km hike through rolling farmlands and iconic rice terraces. Meet with Blue H’mong families on the other side of the Hoang Lien Mountain Range as they tell you about their daily lives in regard to farming, hunting,
and dying hemp fabric. Then, continue to Nam Nhiu village where you will quickly recognize the attributes of the Red Dzao, with beautifully embroidered outfits, red handkerchiefs, and shaved eyebrows. Stop nearby for lunch surrounded by nature and take a rest before hiking back to Topas Riverside Lodge through the scenic landscapes of the area.
