At Topas Riverside Lodge some of the team had the opportunity to enjoy our Nam Pa BBQ Hut Trek. This walk takes visitors from the lodge in Nam Cang village on a stunning walk into a hidden valley where we have taken a simple farming hut and transformed it into a rustic BBQ experience for our guests.
Topas Team Trip
In November members of the Topas Team from the Hanoi and Sapa offices, plus Topas Riverside Lodge and Topas Ecolodge got together at the lodges for three days of good trekking, food and drink and to learn about all the latest developments at the lodges.
Alongside enjoying the trek, some of the team were brave enough to cross the challenging swing bridge!
Another group took a wander into the jungle with Mrs Phu who is part of the family Topas first partnered with to open Topas Riverside Lodge. On the trek Mrs Phu collects the various plants and herbs that are then used to create tradtional Red Dao baths for guests.
After trekking to Topas Ecolodge, the team learned about the latest developments at the lodge, including the various new eco initiatives, bungalow upgrades, pool villa construction and more.
They then had the chance to experience our hill top BBQ experience after a few glasses of sangria!
